The apartment is located on the top floors of a monumental canal house, which has been completely renovated and restored with many original details. The wide plank oak floor together with the exposed ceiling beams supporting the roof give the apartment a very romantic look and feel.
The apartment has a living room with an open plan kitchen and a queen size (1.60mx2.00m) double bed in the attic, reachable with a wooden stairs in the living room. The bed is located directly under the roof, which makes it very cozy.
The kitchen is fully equipped (stove, oven, microwave, dish washer, coffee maker, toaster, kitchen utensils and refrigerator) so, if you like, you can prepare your own breakfast and/or dinner.
The bathroom has floor heating, a shower, washbasin and toilet.
There is a flat screen television, and a high speed (cable) internet connection as well as WiFi available (internet is free of charge).
Breakfast is not included, but complimentary coffee and tea are available. As the apartment is located on the edge of the famous 9 streets and the Jordaan area there are a lot of nice restaurants close by for breakfast and dinner. Of course you will get your own keys to your private apartment, so you can come and go as you like.
PLEASE NOTE: The apartment is located on the top floors of the house (4th floor) and can only be reached by a (typical Amsterdam) stiff/steep stairway, what makes it unfortunately difficult for physically challenged people.
